This Shapes: Flat and Solid resource includes practice pages and games for teaching flat (2D) and solid (3D) shapes. These geometry practice sheets are tied to kindergarten and first grade math standards.
In my small groups we do the describing pages first, focusing on one shape at a time and talking about its attributes. We work through each sheet together and use wooden or plastic shapes so students can hold and build with them.
